Level One ( Primary Teacher, Classes I–V))• Senior Secondary (10+2): Minimum 50% marks.
• Professional Qualification: Passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/JBT) OR 4-year B.El.Ed.
• Alternative: Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher, Classes VI–VIII)Graduation: Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks.
Professional Qualification: B.Ed. or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Note: Specific subject combinations are required for Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics.

Important Points
Final Year Students: If you are in the final year of your qualifying professional degree (D.El.Ed/B.Ed), you are eligible to apply.
Relaxation in Marks: A 5% relaxation in the minimum required qualifying marks in graduation/senior secondary is available for reserved category candidates of Haryana.
Validity: The certificate you earn will have lifetime validity.
How to Apply
1. Registration: Visit the official website ctet.nic.in. Click on “New Registration.”
2. Login Credentials: Enter your basic details (Name, DOB, Mobile, Email). You will receive a Registration Number and Password.
3. Level Selection: Log in and select the level you are applying for:
Level 1: PRT (Classes 1-5)
Level 2: TGT (Classes 6-8)
4. Upload Documents: You must upload scanned copies of:

6. Signature: On white paper with black ink (10-20 KB).
