Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test HTET Online Form 2025

The HTET syllabus is designed to test your pedagogical skills and subject-specific knowledge across three levels. Regardless of the level, the exam consists of 150 questions (1 mark each) with no negative marking on steps here. HTET is conducted annually by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH). While it usually happens late in the year (Nov/Dec). But HTET 2025 is pending till date now.

• The selection is based on a single-stage written examination. Since this is an eligibility test, there is no negative marking.
Age Limit Post
Minimum Age: 18 years.
Maximum Age: Generally up to 38 years (Level 1) or 42 years (Levels 2 & 3).
Relaxation: Age relaxation is provided for SC, BC, and PwD candidates of Haryana domicile as per state government rules (typically 5 years for SC/ST).

Level One ( Primary Teacher, Classes I–V))• Senior Secondary (10+2): Minimum 50% marks.
• Professional Qualification: Passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/JBT) OR 4-year B.El.Ed.
• Alternative: Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher, Classes VI–VIII)Graduation: Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks.
Professional Qualification: B.Ed. or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Note: Specific subject combinations are required for Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics.
PGT (Post Graduate Teacher, Classes IX–XII)Post Graduation: Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks.
Professional Qualification: B.Ed. from a recognized university.
Academic Record: A consistently good academic record is usually required for this level.

Important Points
Final Year Students: If you are in the final year of your qualifying professional degree (D.El.Ed/B.Ed), you are eligible to apply.
Relaxation in Marks: A 5% relaxation in the minimum required qualifying marks in graduation/senior secondary is available for reserved category candidates of Haryana.
Validity: The certificate you earn in May 2026 will have lifetime validity.
How to Apply
1. Registration: Visit the official website bseh.org.in or the dedicated portal htet.eapplynow.com. Click on “New Registration.”
2. Login Credentials: Enter your basic details (Name, DOB, Mobile, Email). You will receive a Registration Number and Password.
3. Level Selection: Log in and select the level you are applying for:
Level 1: PRT (Classes 1-5)
Level 2: TGT (Classes 6-8)
Level 3: PGT (Classes 9-12)
4. Upload Documents: You must upload scanned copies of:

6. Signature: On white paper with black ink (10-20 KB).

9. Fee Payment: Pay the application fee online via Net Banking, Debit, or Credit Card.

The 60 marks for this level are split into two subjects aimed at primary school standards:

2. Environmental Studies (30 Marks): Ecosystems, biodiversity, water, air, resources, and environmental conservation.
Subject Specific (60 Marks): Focuses on the specific subject you have chosen (Social Studies, Science, Math, etc.). Questions are based on the concepts from NCERT/Haryana Board textbooks for classes VI-X, but the difficulty level reaches up to Graduation.Subject Specific (60 Marks): Advanced questions in your chosen post-graduate subject (e.g., Computer Science, Economics, Commerce, Biology). The standard of questions is aligned with Post-Graduation level knowledge.
