| • The online application process for RRB ALP CEN 01/2026 is conducted exclusively through the official recruitment portal. • Step-by-Step Guide to Apply • Visit the Official Portal: Go to www.rrbapply.gov.in. 1. Create an Account: • Click on the “Apply” button and select “Create an Account.” • Enter your personal details (Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, etc.). • Provide your Aadhaar Number and verify it via OTP. • Note: If you already created an account for CEN 2024 or 2025, you can use those same credentials to log in. 2. Login & Fill Application: • Log in using your registered mobile number/email and password. • Fill in Part I (Educational details, Category, Community, and Choice of RRB Zone). 3. Pay Examination Fee: • Pay the fee (₹500 for Gen/OBC; ₹250 for others) via Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI. 4. | 1. Can I apply for the RRB ALP post if I have only passed 10th/Matriculation? Ans:- No. Simply passing 10th grade is not enough. You must also have a technical qualification such as an ITI certificate (in specified trades), a 3-year Diploma, or a Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile). 2. I have undergone LASIK surgery. Am I eligible? Ans:- No. The medical standard for Assistant Loco Pilot is A-1, which is the most stringent in the Railways. Candidates who have undergone LASIK or any other corrective eye surgery are strictly ineligible. Your vision must be 6/6 without glasses. 3. Is there a fee refund for the application? Ans:- Yes. However, the refund is only issued if you appear for the Stage 1 CBT. • General/OBC/EWS: ₹400 will be refunded (after bank charges). • SC/ST/Female/Ex-SM/Minorities: The full ₹250 will be refunded. Note: Ensure your bank details are correct in the application form to receive this. 4. Can I apply to more than one RRB Zone? Ans:- No. Candidates can apply to only one RRB zone. Submitting multiple applications to different RRBs will lead to the rejection of all your applications and may even result in being debarred from future exams. 5. What is the age limit for RRB ALP 2026? Ans:- The age limit is 18 to 30 years as of July 1, 2026. However, there is age relaxation for reserved categories: • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years (Up to 33 years) • SC/ST: 5 years (Up to 35 years) • Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms. 6. I am in the final year of my Diploma/ITI. Can I apply? Ans:- No. Candidates awaiting final results of their prescribed educational qualification are not eligible to apply. Your results must have been declared on or before the closing date of the application (June 14, 2026). 7. What happens if I fail the A-1 Medical Test? Ans:- If you fail the A-1 medical standard, you will not be considered for the ALP post. However, if you also applied for Technician posts (and meet those specific educational and medical standards like B-1 or B-2), you may be considered for those roles instead. | |
