| Q1: What is the total number of vacancies released for RRB Technician 2026? Ans: A total of 6,565 vacancies have been announced under the CEN 02/2026 notification. Out of these, 323 vacancies are for Technician Grade I Signal and 6,242 vacancies are for Technician Grade III. Q2: Can a 12th pass candidate apply for the RRB Technician post? Ans: Yes, but only for specific categories under Technician Grade III (Signal & Telecommunication), provided the candidate has completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. For other Grade III posts, a 10th pass qualification along with an ITI certificate or Act Apprenticeship is mandatory. Q3: Can I apply to more than one RRB zone? Ans: No. Candidates can choose and apply to only one regional RRB of their choice. Submitting multiple applications across different RRBs will lead to immediate rejection of all forms. However, you can apply for both Grade I and Grade III through your single chosen RRB if you meet the eligibility criteria for both.
