| 1. Stage 1: Tier-I Exam (Qualifying Nature) • Purpose: Screening test only (Marks are not added to the final merit list, but clearing the cut-off is mandatory). • Format: Online CBT | 100 MCQs | 200 Marks | Time: 60 Minutes. • 2026 New Rule: Strict 15-minute sectional timer for each section. • Negative Marking: 0.50 marks deducted for every wrong answer. 2. Stage 2: Tier-II Exam (The Merit Decider) • Your final job selection and department allotment depend entirely on this score. • Paper-I (Compulsory for All Posts): Scored out of 390 Marks (Maths, Reasoning, English, General Awareness). • Computer Knowledge Test: Qualifying in nature but clearing it is mandatory. • Data Entry Speed Test (DEST): Mandatory typing test (~2000 key depressions) conducted on the same day. • Paper-II & III (Post-Specific): Statistics (for JSO) and Finance/Economics (for AAO). • Negative Marking: 1 mark deducted for each wrong answer in Paper-I. 3. Final Step: Allotment & DV • Post Preference: Candidates must fill out their post choices online after Tier-II. • Document Verification (DV): Conducted directly by the allocated department after the final result declaration. | |||

| 1.One-Time Registration (OTR):Prerequisite.Go to ssc.gov.in. If you are a new user, click on “Register Now” to complete your OTR by entering basic identity, Aadhaar, and contact details to generate your static Registration ID and Password. 2.Login & Apply:Form Initiation.Log in using your official OTR credentials on the main dashboard. Navigate to the “Latest Notifications” segment, locate Combined Graduate Level Examination 2026, and hit the Apply button. 3.Capture Live Photo & Signature:Critical Rule.Use a webcam or the official mySSC smartphone app to capture a live photograph against a plain, light background (no caps or glasses allowed). Upload a scanned copy of your signature (10 KB to 20 KB in JPEG format). 4.Fill Qualification & Preferences:Data Entry.Select your preferred regional exam center choices, verify your highest educational graduation parameters, and tick specific columns if you are applying for specialized posts like JSO. 5.Fee Payment & Final Submission: Final Step. Pay the standard application fee of ₹100 online using UPI, Net Banking, or Credit/Debit cards (General/OBC male candidates only). Women, SC, ST, and PH candidates are exempt from payment.
